Homusubi: Causer of Fire.

Ok so I’m finally back at work after having a week and a half off and only posting on here once. God I’m rubbish at this blogging thing. I get really into it for a month or so and then I find something else (in this case WoW as I mentioned in my earlier post) and then my blog becomes all but a distant memory. I feel really bad because Raptor is a tab on my internet so everytime I go to check something it’s there, staring at me. I start to write a post, determined to give it my all after an absence and for a while, I’m doing pretty good. I have a good topic, I remember how to spell (having dug up my knowledge gained from an English A Level) and I’m on a roll.
Then I remember Valcyrie and Menhit.
I panic, realising I was in the middle of a quest when I quit the game to go to sleep. I try to ignore the niggling in the back of my mind, telling me to turn it back on and collect 8 Vials of Plagued Blood. Rapt wins for a while and I manage a few more sentences but the seed has been planted. My mouse keep stopping, just over the WoW shortcut and I lose where I am in my post. I start to repeat myself and make mistakes.
Everything’s ruined.I close down Rapt, sign out of MSN and that’s it.
WoW takes over.
I spend hours sat there, grinning like an idiot when I reach level 20 and get a mount.
I’ve even started DREAMING about it.
It’s horrible.
Fable 3 needs to come out so I can tear myself away from the laptop and return to the Xbox. Atleast with that I knew when to stop.

I’ve just remembered I promised to tell you about my holiday. Well the day and a half that I spent in Scarborough with J.We took the train there (a nice sum of £30 for a return ticket) after J finished work, getting there at about half 8. The hotel was MASSIVE! And posh.

I felt really out of place, stood there in a pair of shorts and a coat. The room was nice, J got awfully obsessed with the bathroom.
The lights were PURPLE!

We didn’t really do anything that day. We went out for a little while and walked on the beach. I was taunting the waves, daring them to come and get me... They nearly did.
There were no pubs free that didn't contain masses of people watching some crazy sport on tv so we went back to the hotel, via Subway.

Arcades.

What a way to ruin your life.
I spent wayyyyy too much money in those things, desperatley trying to win a toy that I KNEW was never going to fall into the little chute for me. 20 pound later and I decided to get on with my life. Or at least move to something I knew would give me results. The 2 penny slots. These are the greatest things to be found in Scarborough. Well, they are when they have good prizes in them, which they did this time.

MATCHING WATCHES!!!! <3

So that what my holiday, summed up really quickly. It was good (:

On another note, that old guy with the dog was there today. It was all dandy.
